A beautiful playing, sounding and looking early MTD 435-21, serial #434, made in or around 2000 in Michael Tobias's shop in upstate New York. I purchased this a few months ago from a fellow TB'er (I think it's been sold on TB a few times) and while it's amazing, I'm playing almost exclusively 5-string these days and prefer a 34" scale.
Domestic tulipwood body with wenge accents/covers, maple neck and fingerboard. 35-inch scale. Has all the MTD hallmarks-- zero fret, Buzz Feiten, the custom active Bartolini pickups and preamp. Comes with an MTD gig bag.
As you might expect with the wood choices, it's punchy, bright and articulate, with tone for days. In excellent condition with only two or three very, very minor impressions (photographed where possible). Please feel free to ask any questions.
