FS: Beautiful MIM Fender Deluxe Dimension Bass V five string bass, in absolutely MINT, like-new condition. Recently professionally set up by local tech. Some superficial marks on the pickguard that are barely even noticeable. Purchased for a project that never panned out. Never played outside my smoke and pet free home EVER, not even one rehearsal. Playability is excellent. New roundwound strings. B string is nice and tight, especially for the price point. Tone-wise, this thing definitely ventures into StingRay territory- but not 100%; it certainly has it's own voice. Comes with a Road Runner rectangular soft case, which is in great condition except for one thing- the metal zippers broke off, currently has zip ties in place. Works perfectly, just a little funky.
Full specs: ash body, nice dark rosewood fingerboard, medium jumbo frets, 34" scale, 9.5" radius, very comfy C-shape maple neck with graphite reinforcement (according to various websites), GOTOH tuners, original string tree replaced with a Sandberg unit (don't have the original), 4 bolt neck attachment, powerful 18 volt actice electronics w/3 band (bass, mid, treble) eq with center detents, knurled chrome knobs, master volume, proprietary Fender Hi-Mass bridge, dual pop-up battery compartments, weighs just a tad under 9lbs, Fender Fathead pickup, made in Ensenada, Mexico.
