I have a BBP35 in the blue color, and it is a HUGE sleeper...can stand up to any boutique bass made. It's really that good, and I was previously an active-only/3-band player before this beast.

Buy it, you won't regret it.

Do you happen to know how much the bass weighs? How does it balance on a strap? Any neck dive?

Went out and got a digital scale:

weight is 9.6lbs

no balance issues and no abnormal neck dive. I’m this model does not have a history of either of those issues if you do some research
