It is a great bass! I thought about doing a version after I purchased the body and realized it resembled Matt's. Hopefully someone can use it.

Does the regular size J pickguard fit on this?

Do you know what type finish it is?...nitro, poly?

A regular size guard will fit on it...I had a Fender not never drilled for it and sold it off. The finish is nitro.

I appreciate the input. Actually I have some generic pics of the neck I had on the body. If anyone is interested, just PM me. The neck was an old fretless Warmoth that was split in two and I re glued it. Used it for years and finally gave it to a friend that was going to mess around with putting a finish on the board. My plan was to get a new one...and well you can guess like with many others & the times we are in, projects get set aside!
