Yes they make very good amps and I've owned quite a few of them but right now I'm diggin the sound from my Mesa set up and I would like to compare the WD800 to my d800 plus.

I recently was shopping between the D800+ and the WD800 and the WD800 won, hands down! The D800+ sounded awesome and had I not had the two to compare I would have bought the D800+ and would have been very happy. But the WD800 was there and sounded so much more rich and alive! The + was used and I could have had it for $300 less than what I paid for the WD (which I got a deal on anyway) and it was still worth it. GLWTS!

(all of this is just my opinion, of course. I love GK as well and am so glad there are so many great products on the market)

Man, I bet both those amps are killer!! Wish I could justify getting one right now

I've used it at a few practices. Most of the time I was comparing to the Mesa. The GK has a nice sizzle but I like the darker sound of the Mesa.

When did you purchase it and is it still under warranty.
