I'm selling my ACG Basses Uber Finn 5 string. I believe I'm the third owner, both previous owners were TBers. I bought it in 2016.

Hardware details: ACG Hipshot bridge, Gotoh GB350 Resolite tuners, Dunlop Dual Design straplocks
34.5" scale. 1 and 3/4" at nut. 19mm string spacing at bridge
Weight ~ 9lbs (ish)
Currently strung with DR Nickel Lo-Riders

Comes with an extra set of custom pickups: ACG SC5, and ACG PB5. I never swapped them in because the MC pickups had the sound I was after, but I believe they just drop in pretty easily (the preamp has solderless connections).

Includes the original Hiscox case as shown in the pics.

The original owner disconnected the red battery warning LED; I haven't touched it.

I had this professionally set up by Mike Lull in 2017. He adjusted the truss rod, leveled and polished the frets. Set up for medium action. I have hardly played it since, so the frets are in wonderful condition.

This is a very nice bass. It has a fairly meaty neck. Solid construction. The action hasn't changed in the 3 years since I had it adjusted.

The electronics are amazing. I've got a precursor ACG preamp in another bass of mine and love it. The pickups are the real deal. Yes, it can (easily) sound just like a Wal. Bang-on, right away. Which means it can be extremely aggressive sounding. But the amount of control the preamp gives you means it can also be dialed back completely in many different ways.

I'd love to keep it, but I just don't get along with 5 string basses - 4 and 6 only for me. And I've picked up a couple other instruments lately and need to make room in the budget.

The price is $2250 shipped in the lower 48. Paypal is preferred.

This is a beauty! I own an ACG and it is a great bass, the build quality is exceptional. The neck is a little on the chunky side on mine too, but is manageable, and perhaps in part due to the extra girth is incredibly stable even with the huge humidity swings here. And when it needs adjusting (I had to loosen it slightly once) the truss rod design and implementation is the best. I am able to set the action incredibly low, perfect for playing with a light touch. This is a great price too, glwts!

Neck veneer on the body contact surface reminds me of Yamaha center body laminate. Same idea would be my guess. Thick neck is :bassist:.
