Brand new in box. Disclosure: I did take it out just to see how it sounds. I didn’t even step on it. It’s truly amazing on guitar. Not so good on bass for me, but from threads here on TB I see that others can make it work quite well for them. But I have no use for it.
So why am I selling a brand-new pedal? Because it’s not what I ordered. Long story short, I ordered a clean used EHX Deluxe Bass Big Muff Pi from Reverb. Two-day shipping turned into six (to be fair, not the shop’s fault), and when I finally received and opened the package I found not what I had ordered, but a brand-new C9 pedal. Should have been easy to rectify, but the shop made it a total PITA and would not exchange for what I had actually ordered (which was still listed on their Reverb page). I don’t think they quite wrapped their head around the fact they sent me the wrong (higher-priced) item, and that this wasn’t a case of buyer’s remorse. I got tired of banging my head with them and ordered what I wanted elsewhere and now I’m selling this C9.
Aside from a quick plug-in to hear it, the C9 is brand-new in the box with its power adapter, manual, brochure, and whatever else comes in the box (I think there’s a sticker of some sort), with the original bubble padding and original box. It goes without saying that there’s no Velcro on the bottom.
$180 includes CONUS shipping. Not interested in trades, as there’s nothing I really need. Well, maybe a used (working!) Ric toaster pickup as a partial trade, but I’m pretty much set otherwise.
Show up at my front door with a fistful of cash (and a mask) and we can negotiate a serious discount.
