Details

Never done one of these before but I am hopeful! Recently purchased an RB850 from guitar center but it had a bowed neck so I returned it back but am not having such luck finding another one of that exact bass (hopefully in better quality than the last).

Willing to pay $500 + shipping if anyone is to part with it. Will be updating this post daily for results!

There are a couple of close relatives posted up on the 'bay at the moment. A 824 and a 835 I think.

Pretty sure both have the toggle tap switches which work well with those pickups.

Thanks for the lead but I'm strictly looking at RB850 lines. Maybe down the road I'll consider the other two you've mentioned if my search has been dry.

I have a sweet RB950 almost identical to the one shown here. It sounds amazing

I understand, however I think when you watch that video there's so many tones available that even though it's not a PJ config he can still get a wide variety of tones like a PJ and more

I also feel like if you acquired it for 500 and decided to move it he wouldn't lose anything

I removed my original comment about the PJ config before you commented due to not really mattering other than the year of when that bass was made lol
