For Sale: I'm the original owner of this HandBox R-400, purchased in late 2017. I love the tone and simplicity of this amp. It has a great sounding 3 x 12AX7 preamp supported by a Class A/B output stage.
Last year I took both my R-400 and (HandBox) WB-100 to a local amp tech to have them checked over. He found a cold solder joint in the R-400 and, after a solder re-flow and prolonged test of the unit at max volume and dummy load, gave the R-400 a clean bill of health.
