I have a relatively new set of QP's for 5-string Jazz bass. These only come in standard Fender Jazz V sized (67/70).
They are great pickups, highly underrated. If you're looking for some extra oomph for your Jazz V, I have found that if you drop these into a passive bass, you really don't need a preamp; Tons of low end.
I have also experimented with different passive tone capacitors and found that a .047.uF cap pulls too many high-mids off these pickups, and they are better suited with a .022 uF cap.
I am selling these because I have been bitten by the hum-cancelling bug and found Duncan Apollo's ...and the fact that I have two sets of QP's...I am selling the newer set of the two.
