Greetings fellow tb’ers.. Up for sale only is a Matthieu Combe Alys 5. Matthieu Combe is a french luthier in business since 2006 with this example made in 2017 for the 2018 NAMM booth..
Standard specs are 34” scale, 19 mm spacing, 24 frets and weight of 9.6 lbs. Aguilar pickups and Nordstrand 18v 3b preamp in a fully shielded cavity.
Body wood is mahogany with 3-piece maple neck and rosewood fretboard. Walnut top and headstock veneer in a satin finish that is much cooler in person..
Everything works as it should with a small scratch on bottom back side of body and on headstock where the veneer is cloudy..(see pics)..
