I have owned a GB 900, a 9.2 Max and a Streamliner ... This head can do a little bit of all of them.. It is far more versatile than I thought when I first got it.. You just have to use it and experiment with it..

It is possible to rack mount. I have a medium depth rack and bought a rack shelf. I mounted the rack shelf from the back and marked where I needed to drill holes to screw the rubber feet of the amp. Unscrew the rubber feet and remount them underneath the rack shelf back into the amp. Buy a 2 space rack faceplate and cut it out to fit the amp.
