I got this a few years ago off of eBay and was like it was dipped in lacquer when it came to me. I had to first clean the frets and the sand it down so it felt better. I had it on a parts P style Bass and it played and sounded good. I just got a Warmoth Wende Neck to replace it. It's a little thick front to back like a late 70's Jazz Neck. I don't know what the tuners are but it stayed in tune fine. The rod works perfectly. Has a
purple-heart Skunk stripe.
