Details

I’ve got an Aria Pro II IGB-85 Integra bass for sale. This is one of the models Billy Gould used for a short time in 1990. There’s no serial number but it’s likely from 1989-90 and probably a made in Korea model. It was labeled an “Integra Custom” in the Aria Pro ad Billy Gould was featured in.

It’s in a very subtle transparent black finish with gold hardware. The bridge is a Gotoh but branded Aria Pro II. It has active electronics with the standard volume, balance, bass, and treble controls. 34” scale, 24 frets, rosewood fretboard, maple neck, “sen” body. Nut width is about 40mm. It’s very light coming in at around 7.8lbs on the bathroom scale.

Cosmetically it has several dings/dents/scratches. I tried to show the main ones in the pics. Lots of scratches by the output jack, probably from years of carelessly setting the bass down (not by me of course!). There are smaller dents on the back of the neck that are hard to photograph, too. Nothing that affects playability.

The frets are in great shape and the neck is straight. I just had it setup by MD Custom Shop in Seoul. The truss rod is pretty much at the end and I should have had him add a washer under the nut of the truss rod to get extra turns. If I get the bass back to my regular tech in the US before it’s sold, I will have him do it. It’s playing really great right now, though. I have Ernie Ball nickel Slinkys in 45-100 gauge on it.

Here are a couple of links of Billy Gould playing this model with FNM in 1990. MTV Music Awards:

Parkpop (bass is loud here!)

I’m including shipping in the price to the CONUS and the bass will be packed with the neck detached for economic and safety reasons - especially if I end up shipping from Korea (hopefully via USPS on an army base). I might end up shipping from Oregon but it would be the same deal. I have a very basic bag for it (basically a dust cover). Please note it may take some extra time to get the bass mailed and delivered if I send from Korea.
Thanks!

I'm local and a huge Bill Gould fan. Wish I could justify the purchase right now. Good luck!
