Great looking/sounding/playing gamma P bass. I initially bought this because i have never really vibed with P basses and wanted to give them another shot. I dialed this one in w/ pretty low action, it has light guage DR's on it. The tone is not thumpy like a 50's P bass, it's more grindy and more of a rock bass IMO. Weight is a little over 8 lbs. Will ship in gig bag, local New England will get discount

So what’s the low down with these gamma basses? Are these actually being built or are they parts basses that someone is slapping a Gamma logo on? Not knocking it in any way, that’s a great looking bass. I’m just curious cause I’ve seen a few recently but they have a fender headstock shape. I’m guessing these are fender licensed parts?

i don't know the answer to that unfortunately. I can only tell you that it looks great, i've set it up w/ DR light hi beams to play easy, it's fairly lightweight and is absolutely gig-able...if that's a word, i know because i've gigged it a few times. It's not Lakland quality but for the price it's a good deal IMO
