2013 Sadowsky 5-string fretless, #6282, just a beautiful looker and player. This bass has been my main fretless, and never let me down on stage or in the studio. Super solid and versatile.
First, the specs:
Roger selected beautiful, clear pieces of wood for this bass. Its simplicity is really part of its charm, and I always got compliments on how it sounded and looked. It sings and growls. And it is SO light and comfortable to play!!
The fingerboard has light wear as it's had flatwounds a lot of its life, though roundwounds are on there now. I can't find any flaws in the neck or headstock. The body has a few dings and scrapes, but they are all minor and look to be completely in the clear coating, so if desired, it could probably be touched up and buffed to look new. I tried to highlight the flaws in the photos below: a tiny ding on the front near the bridge pickup, some very minor dings and scuffs near the bridge, and some buckle rash on the back. But really you have to catch the light right to make them visible like that.
