Wow. Great price for a great amp. I have both a Zephyr and F-1X (like I see you have). Placing the F-1X in the effects loop of the Zephyr is the best of both. You should keep it! Just saying.

That is quite the stack of preamps! Wish I never sold my F-1X all those years ago... GLWTS!

Thanks Robert! That seems like a great tip. Still, despite hours of tweaking and years of experience with different tone stacks, I just struggle with this pre. Its old-school, vibey and tubey for sure. Just not aligned with my hands and ears I am finding. It happens.

Thank you! Yes, agreed. The FX-1 is a true standard for bass pres and DIs (As is the Yamaha PB-1) Just excellent. (And I have several more pre's not shown) I really wanted to find a space for the Arkham, but whatever goodness lies in that box tends to elude me for the most part.
