Up for sale is a flawless Ibanez Workshop SR Cerro Singlecut SRSC800 4-string electric bass in natural poplar burl finish. The purpleheart fretboard combined with the 5 piece maple/purpleheart neck make for an incredibly beautiful looking and toned instrument.
The addition of a tried and true Bartolini MK-1 pickups and the Ibanez 3-band EQ provide total tonal control. One switch enable enables mid frequency selection for cut/boost and another allows for active preamp bypass for totally different, more nasal and flatter behavior.
The body is very compact and playable with very accessible upper frets. The upper bout of the single cut reaches up to around the 13th fret providing a nice vehicle for a stiff neck, increased sustain plus a generally cool looking axe. The Mono-Rail V bridge is solid and provides excellent string-to-string isolation, enabling each string to vibrate independently with limited interference from sympathetic vibration.
Looking primarily for a straight sale. Only trades I'd be open to consider would be for Maruszyk, Bacchus or a Walnut MIJ Fender Jazz. Will ship insured UPS in lower 48 CONUS.
