Up for sale is my parts Fender Jazz 4 string which was purchased on ebay. Upon arrival I added flat wounds, badass bridge, strap locks, strap and gig bag. Origin of body is either Mexico or Japanese, It did not matter to me, if that bothers you, please keep searching, pickups are stock to that model as I was going to install EMG's at a later date. I have the new pickups in a box for an extra 100 if you want them. Everyone knows the price of Warmoth necks, it is an unlined fretless, and could use professional setup as I am 50 miles from my luthier in the city. I am just not a four string player, and really missing my B string. No trades please, as this sale is for food in my refrigerator, truthfully!

I have too many basses to be buying more but I was very curious why you called it a "parts" bass and does it have a Warmouth neck? I just couldn't figure why you would be selling it so cheap.....(I have LOTS of instruments but I'm not all that up on some of the brands listed here for sale). Thanks for the time...I know you have better things to do and answer silly questions....I am not that knowledgeable on the my OWN collection and am just learning..I bought what I liked...now I'm seeing if I wasted a LOT of money or maybe have some jems amongst the chaff.

You have presented a fair and honest question in which I can gladly answer. To begin with I am retired 68 year old autoworker who in the beginning only had intentions of playing in a garage band with my drinking buddies. While searching for a bigger amp to keep from being overpowered by my buddies 100 watt guitar amps, I decided to visit my local music store. As fate would have it, the salesman at the music store had a band of his own that had been through several bassist. After auditioning, the band had me gigging after 2 months of practice. The salesman/leader of the band came in contact on a daily basis with other bands posting the need for bassists for their bands on the store billboard. Within a year, I was a member in 3 different bands. A blues band, a 50's Motown band, as pictured in my avatar, and various C/W bands. I also had the privilege of trying every bass and amp in the store as long as I didn't damage any equipment. I also had first call on used bass trade-ins. Being able to buy any bass at store cost, and picking up many fantastic deals on used basses also, I ended up with over 40 basses over my 25 year career. Now that I am reduced to playing occasionally in a cowboy church, I have no need for all my basses. When I die, I know my Son knows nothing about musical instruments, and my fear is that he will sell my collection for pennies on the dollar. That is why I am selling my collection at a fair price to my bass brothers and sisters. I have yet to make any money, but if I can regain at least 80% of my money, I am ok with that.
