The Black Mountain Signal is a clone of the Hudson Broadcast dual with a few tweaks.
It features two channels (low/high) each with it's own level knob and gain trim (black knobs) which are (inside) trim pots on the original design. There's also a bass cut and treble cut plus a switch to choose between germanium and silicone transistor.
I've never tried an original Hudson so I don't know if it's normal but this one is not working with my active Sadowsky as there's no way for me to get a clean signal even when run at 24 volts with gain at minimum. I was expecting a lot from this pedal but finally cannot use it.
