$750/shipped
Throwing a feeler out...possible interest in my newly acquired, used EP52 (green lacewood body/EMGs). I need to get some unexpected surgery, so I could use the money. The previous seller said that this bass was in new shape, and it is not. There are some minor dings, and then a finish crack at the output jack, but there is really nice playability...absolutely nothing structural. See the extra post of mine for those pics. It's the easiest 19mm neck I've ever played, and I'm a 17mm player, and I easily set up the action quite low. The "Dazz" nickname on the headstock was from this bass belonging to Philly pro bassist, Colin Fequa. He's worked with Stevie Wonder and Al Green, and was also uncle to the late Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes (TLC). I miss that group...may she rest in peace.
The bass comes with an aftermarket hardshell case, as well as new Elixir strings. I will put the original knobs back on (black w/ line indicators). Also, this bass has a socket truss nut, and not a traditional Allen type, so I will include the proper wrench (bought new from Amazon).
35" scale
1 3/4" at nut, 3" at 24th fret
Feels like 9.5 lbs
lacewood body
flame maple neck w/ pau ferro board (graphite bars also in neck) *neck is flat after years of shows, too*
compound radiused neck...feels like 9.5 to 16"
EMG active P/J pickups with 3-band eq (9v)
Sperzel tuners
Elixir strings
US Masters/Hipshot B-style bridge
threaded brass inserts for pickup and control cavity screws
