For Sale: 2018 Ernie Ball Musicman Bongo 4HH - $1325 (firm) plus half of shipping - Comes with strap locks and a nice leather strap (and the original strap buttons)
Edit* I need to add my price is firm since I've gotten several lower offers. I do realize that Bongo 4HH basses have sold for cheaper here on TB, but age, usage and condition play a major factor in my pricing.

The bass has very little playtime on it and is in like-new condition except for one small nick at the very tip of the headstock. I did put a little red sharpie on the nick - Just letting you know so it doesn't look like I was trying to hide it. The case is a Musicman case custom fit for Bongos and is in excellent shape with only a few light scratches and scuffs on it.

I love this bass - it plays like a dream and has amazing tone, but times are pretty tough right now so I decided to sell it to help out with some bills.
This is the info from Ernie Balls website for the serial #:

Wow. What is the weight?

I just looked up the specs and it said 8 pounds 4 ounces (varies slightly). We lost track of time at our last gig because we were having such fun and we played for almost 5 hours. Weight was never an issue. It is a very comfortable and well balanced bass. I'm sure other bongo players will attest to that.

You'd be hard pressed to find a used Bongo in this condition with such little playtime on it and we all know what new Bongos sell for. I got the bass a little over a year ago and I have only played about 10 gigs with it due to the ongoing pandemic. Since I've been playing for 35 years I hate to admit that I rarely practice unless I have to learn new material. That said, it is the 2nd best bass that I have I have ever played - just behind my beloved Pedulla Thunderbass that I played for over 20 years. I also had to sell the Pedulla several years ago due to financial difficulties due to a mass layoff at a former job. I have owned a few other boutique basses over the years and the Bongo still sits in 2nd place.
Believe it or not, but my wife is actually upset with me for putting it up for sale. She really likes the look of this bass and knows that I will regret selling it like I did when I had to sell my old beloved 93' Pedulla Thunderbass.

All PM's replied. I decided to go cash only and not to take trades on this bass. I edited the sale thread accordingly. That said, thanks to everyone who took the time to contact me with their trade offers.

The only sound clips that I have are from cell phone videos taken of me playing in my band. They are far from ideal for sound quality, but I have no way make a good recording and they are all that I have.
One is through my new Aguilar rig (*click on the Facebook link, press play and unmute the video. Once the video is playing you can click on it again to enlarge) and one is through my old Markbass rig (Youtube link).
