Fender 24 fret Jazz 4 string Bass with Generic Hard Shell Case. Made in Korea. Amber gloss quilted Maple top. Hipshot tuners, High Mass Bridge, Seymour Duncan Bassline Pickups, slap switch, Active modern sounding, string thru body design. My scale has this at 8.8 pounds.

The $740 firm US dollar price includes shipping using Canada Post / USPS expedited parcel insured and tracked to your door within Canada and the continental United States. Alaska and Hawaii ship costs are about $10 higher so lets make the price $750 US Dollars to ship to those two states.

The bass plays and sounds great, low action easy to play. Brand new round wound stings installed.

That color is called "Cherryburst" - I have one just like it. It is a fantastic bass. GLWTS!

I managed to get my hands on the 2009 5 string version around 2015, bought it off of Ebay for a whopping $380. At the time there were a lot of them being sold on the used market hovering around the $400. Since then it seems the prices have gone up because they are harder to find. I would love to find a black color 4 string.

I am concerned with the Canadian Post. I've had bad experiences in the past. Including tariff payment, length of time for delivery. Please advise.

As a personal non business seller there is no tariff involved to my knowledge. I sold a few basses into the USA in 2020 and no buyer has mentioned tariff payments on their end as buyers. Feel free to contact your state officials on the tariff topic.
Possibly when you buy from a business seller there could be some tariff, i could see your state wanting you to support local business sales by adding a tariff if you purchased out of country instead of inside the USA.
Canada Post handles the shipment up to customs , United States Postal Services handles the shipment after customs. It is never good to hear of bad shipping experiences. There are always other shipping methods (FedEx for example) which can be pursued as desired.
My last bass shipment to Georgia using Canada Post/USPS took 16 calendar days.
