This is a super nice Custom Hand Made 5 String Bass made by a luthier out of Atlanta, GA. It's not a "parts" bass - it was all hand made, and an equivalent quality bass made by a known maker or company would sell for a whole lot more. It has a figured maple top over an alder body, sienna colored finish; bound maple neck with ebony fingerboard, neck is straight and solid. Kahler bridge and Gotoh tuners, Seymour Duncan pickups. (the plastic pickup "ring" for the neck PU is missing). Basically a Jazz Bass design. The bridge pickup is positioned a little closer to the bridge than normal, but it sounds good there. The bass is passive with standard V-V-T controls. It plays and sounds great. Has some wear, but overall in good shape. Will ship in a worn but functional hard case. Really a lot of bass for what I'm asking for it!
