For sale 1973 Gibson EB-3 Short Scale

This is a 1973 Gibson EB-3 in VERY GOOD player condition with average wear for a 46 year old instrument. When I bought the bass the tip of the threaded end of the truss rod has ben broken off, the nut and washer were missing as well as the truss rod cover. This has all been fixed and the truss rod works fine but the new truss rod cover is missing a screw. At some point in the past prior to me purchasing the bass one of the Schaller M4-S tuners had been replaced with a fully open geared Schaller BM tuner. The original bridge has been replaced with a new immensely better Hipshot that has three dimensional adjustability. The old bridge is included. The fretboard has a couple scratches that are very minor and in no way affects playability. Also note the buckle rash on the back of the body. The bass adorns a brand new set of LaBella Tapewound strings! Overall this bass is a great player and sounds fantastic.
