I have a Early 90's Tobias Basic 5. Zebra Wood. This bass is believed to be produced in 93 during the period that Mike Tobias was still consulting with Gibson. This bass was produced in Nashville, TN. Mike stayed on as a consultant and collaborated with Gibson through the end of 93. This bass is in amazing condition for a 20 year old bass. Has the Tobias bridge and the Tobias Tuners. Hand rubbed oil finish that feels silky smooth. Bass is 100% original and super clean. Truss rod is fully adjustable and very low action. $2800 shipped.
