For sale is a good condition Kinal Kompact acoustic/electric 4 string bass.

Incredibly fun bass to play and a big sound from a small package. When plugged in, this bass sounds absolutely massive. I had to think long and hard about listing this bass, but I just don’t play as much as I used to and I’d like to fund other hobbies.

Mike Kinal slightly modified the body shape during building to mirror the 5 string version. He used a sitka spruce top and flame maple back in building. Rosewood fingerboard.

Can't quite tell from the picture - does it have lines at each "fret" location or just side dots? Are the dots on the fret lines or between?

Sorry - no trades - as stated I’m looking to fund another hobby.

It is an incredible bass though - I keep going back and forth about whether I should have it listed because I know if I want another one it will be a year long wait. :crying::crying::crying:

I haven’t tried a fretted version but damn the Fretless tone on this bass is so sweet.



this video is responsible for me purchasing this bass in the first place. Now I’m slowly talking myself back into keeping it.:roflmao::roflmao:

This price is an absolute steal for the level of craftsmanship of this instrument. I've got a fretted 4-string, and I hope I never need to part with it.

Having a short scale, acoustic bass of this quality totally changes how you think about practice and woodshedding.

Amazing instrument at any price, but an unmissable bargain at this price.
