Recently purchased this bass from a fellow TB’er. We all know how fast plans change and I’m needing to go a different direction with a 5 string instead.
I'm putting up my awesome FGN Mighty Jazz J-Standard for sale. This is the stealth version in transparent matte black satin with black hardware. Wood grain is visible through the finish. It's not jet black, or glossy or shiny. Photos may slightly misrepresent the actual color/finish. It's more of a matte/clear satin black almost dark gray. Ash body, maple neck.
These beauties are made in Japan by the best, and this bass shows that.
-34 inch scale
-1.5” nut width
-19mm bridge spacing
-Active EMG J and MM pickups, passive tone circuit.
-Controls are neck vol, bridge volume, tone with pull/push coil split
-Push/Pull coil tap on the humbucker for that modern jazz tone or fat and tight humbucker thunder.
-Gotoh tuners
-Ultra fast satin maple neck, 24 frets with circle fret system. Crazy smooth and fast neck. Most comfortable 4 string neck I’ve played.
This Jazz sounds as awesome as it looks! Clear and clean fundamentals! Singing sustain and harmonics. Comes with FGN gig bag and original paperwork and tools.
