You know you can’t go wrong with a full-passive PJ setup...
I am considering trading this sweet sounding and playing Fender American Performer PJ bass in Matte Lake Placid Blue.
These are made to be quality USA built instruments with a few less “upgrades” than the Pro series. The two obvious budget points on this one are a basic stamped bridge (rather than the high-mass ones we find on more expensive American basses), and the lack of the string-thru-body option.
I am the original owner, bought around June of this year. Never gigged (for obvious reasons.... RONA) and has always been my go to for practice and jamming. All of the great Fender tones to be had here with the stock Yosemite pickups wired into a passive VVT circuit.
This bass has a mean Precision tone when the neck pickup is soloed, but I play it with all knobs dimed and it just rips. The VVT setup can literally give you endless tonal possibilities. The action is set medium-low and feels super comfy to play.
This bass is in very good to excellent condition with very few blemishes. Plays and sounds like a solid American Fender bass should.
Only interested in a trade for an excellent condition 4H EBMM Stingray, with a maple fretboard and single pickup only please. Please don’t get offended if I decline.
Thanks for looking.
