If only D’Addario could see how crazy it gets when these strings go up for sale on here; then maybe they would make them again.

The line was reissued in the ‘80s and was a commercial failure so it got dropped.

Same deal with LaBella’s Goldentones. The profit/cost ratio didn’t work.

I think nowadays the line would be successful with the advent of the internet and the renewed interest in gut strings due to the resurgence of classic styles of music. I know I would be first in line to purchase a set if they came out again.
