You don’t feel the short scale as much because of the short top horn and strap position, which stretches the reach to the first fret. Also, the 1 5/8” nut and medium C neck contour give a substantial feel to the neck. Weight is just under 9 lbs. on my inaccurate bathroom scale. No blemishes to be found.
