I would the Chorda has more of an old school vibe and the Gamut, perhaps a little more modern? Also the Chorda D tends to be too large in diameter and can be muddy up the neck...same with the Chorda E in my humble opinion..I've mic'ed some Chorda E I've owned at over .150, and around .125 works best for me.
