This is a Fender Precision Bass Plus Deluxe that was made at the Fender Custom shop. When I purchased the bass it did not have any paper work or information on it. There is no serial number to be found on the bass, which i am guessing is because it went through the Custom Shop and usually is on a certificate. However, there was what I believe to be a serial number written on the back of the headstock, as pictured. I have since removed the number, but obviously took a photo before removing. It looks like it is N258002 with a 9 or some kind of other symbol between the N and 9. A N9 start could mean 90', but wouldn't make sense since the neck is stamped 91'. My best guess is that they added the 9 before the 2 to signify 92' , but that is just my guess. i did reach out to Fender and they did verify the Custom Shop builders Murill and Montes. The body is in excellent condition with no major dings or scratches. The neck has some wear and marks as can be seen in the phots, but does not interfere with play. They have the original Lace Sensor Pickups with the Kubicki active preamp that are all in working condition. This bass sounds and looks great! Will ship with a non-original case.
