Here a unique opportunity to buy a Maruszczyk at a bargain price. This is an older "Jake" model that has had the body finish and neck heel professionally stripped to prepare for refinishing. I bought this bass thinking that I'd have it refinished, but I just bought a GWB that popped up so I'm marshaling cash to get it paid for quickly.
This bass is in very good condition! It's a total monster player and is totally playable and actually pretty good-looking without refinishing. (To date, no one I've played it with has noticed that the bass isn't fully-finished.) The neck feels great, the action is low without buzzing (for my medium attack) and the EMG pickups sound great! (I've never owned a bass with active EMG's before -- I had no idea they were this good.) It weighs under 9lbs, according to my digital scale.
