One of the last truly custom built-to-my-specs RA’s (#1409 on RA website) 34” scale, 19mm bridge, 1-7/8” nut, mandolin frets, walnut top, alder body, maple neck, and rosewood fb with integrated thumb rest...7.05 lbs on FedEx scale.
Rob did a special “honeycomb” internal bracing, to accommodate the drop top, with significantly extra arm relief...
Strung e~c with Rob’s custom Labella tapewounds. Ime, the bass sits balanced naturally (no neck dive)...neck at 2:00 o’clock position.
The internal bracing + mandolin frets, makes it sound like no other...sits on the opposite end of the tone spectrum from an upright. If you’re looking for a truly unique RA, this is it! Super resonate, unplugged. Will ship in a mint RA hardshell case.
