Trying to consolidate projects a little and clearing out some stuff.
This is an interesting Stingray 5 style bass that I believe was originally an OLP MM3.
The bass was sanded and refinished by another TB’er in white with a matching headstock. The tuners were replaced with ultralite-style tuners and there are some filled holes from the factory tuners. The string retainer was also replaced as well as the nut (TUSQ nut). The frets have been leveled and it sets up and plays nicely. The truss rod works as it should.
The sanding/paint job on the body is just ok. There are some uneven spots and a few marks but overall it’s not bad. The pickup I believe is a factory OLP but I’m not 100% sure. I’ve also included another pickup. The OLP MM3 was passive as far as I know, but I’ve also included a MM-style 2 band EQ. It’s wired to the pots and looks fine but it is untested by me. There is a DPDT switch in the pickguard for series/parallel or other switching you might want to do. the guy that did the paint and other work also did shielding and a strip to ground the bridge because he said he couldn’t thread a wire through the factory hole, although I was able to get the battery box wires through there.
There is a small spot by the battery box where my router template slipped and I routed a little too far to the side.
I’m asking $225 shipped CONUS, but I would be willing to split up anything you see in this listing, just message me to discuss pricing.
