Peavey Foundation Bass - Made in the USA - 1991
If you're reading this, you probably already know about Peavey Made in the USA basses. The best kept secret in the bass world! These 1990's Peaveys sound great and have excellent made in USA quality. The neck is thin and fast, the pickups hot, and the blue finish with maple fret board is a great looking combination.
The bass is in great condition and everything works as it should. It has as super thin neck and it's setup with very low action and plays like a dream.
It has the sought after Peavey Super Ferrite pickups. With two super ferrites, the Foundation is one of the most versatile basses out there. It can thump like a P-bass, or growl like a J-bass. And a lot of other sounds in between.
There are no major dings or scratches. Just small surface scratches and things that are hard to photograph. It looks great! The only defect is a repair at the strap button on the bottom of the body. When I got it, the previous owner had attempted to repair the strap button with a bad dowel job. I had it fixed by a professional and its rock solid and you can only see the repair if you get up close. Your strap will cover it anyway. Its a beautiful bass in great condition.
