This compressor sounds great! It is loaded with a JJ AT7 and Tungsol 12AU7W. It is very quiet and sounds very similar to an LA-1A.
This one pains me as I feel like I've been waiting forever for it to arrive. In the meantime, I've really grown fond of parallel compression and more control over my compression. Otherwise, I'd be keeping this bad boy.

"Here are my initial thoughts on the Deep Dish:
The Deep Dish sounds pretty darn good. It has clear, crisp compression across the whole frequency range just like the LA-1A. As you can expect it adds some warmth to your signal with its two tubes. The pedal is very quiet as well.
When the DD is engaged the metering shows three illuminated lights at all times. The metering lights are very responsive when a note is played. It’s definitely a nice feature that the LA-1A is lacking.
The DD is 4 5/8” wide and 4 1/4” high with cables in. My Cioks power cable sticks out the furthest from the top. My EBS gold flat patch cables fit just inside the power cable. Speaking of power, I’m running two 12V ports off my Cioks 8 with the Cioks 8800 adapter cable. There are no issues with powering up or operation. It gets a little warm but nothing like the mini tube pedals.
In summary, the Deep Dish takes your signal and makes it clearer, warmer and bigger. It packs a lot of tone in a reasonably sized enclosure. I recommend trying one out!"
