Selling this Acme series ii Low B-2. The model is B-2W meant to be used as a woofer to enahnce low end with another cab, but the previous owner replaced the stock speakers with full range (I believe he said Eminence) so it can be used as a stand alone cab. in this regard it does sound good. Rated 350 watt 8 ohm. About 55 lbs, Local Colorado sale only

I've seen that cab at Music Go Round in Aurora and considered snagging it. How were you able to get in touch with the previous owner? The staff at Music Go Round didn't have much in the way of specifics when I asked them for details about it.

It was one of the Music Go Round employees who knew the whole story on it. I forget his name, but he knew a lot more that I did about Acmes, and actually claimed to have worked for Acme back in the day assembling cabs for them?

Interesting! He must not have been working the day I asked about it. Good luck with the sale...when I tried it out in the store I remember it sounding good.

Thanks! Yes it's a nice overall cab, but a little too bright for my liking and also a little too heavy. I contacted Andy and he said he had original speakers for it I could put back in it, I think he quoted me $160. Definitely considered going that route but already have too many cabs lying around not getting played.
