$1300 + Shipping.

Very rare color. Impecable condition. Made in USA in 1998. With original case and case candy.

First owner, in a stunning and original Ocean Turquoise Metallic with white 3-ply pickguard and Maple fingerboard. The color really changes through different types of light, you might see it bluish, sometimes greenish and other times really turquoise. That only happens with just a few custom colors such as Seafoam Green, Shoreline Gold and Sonic Blue as well.

All original excepts for two very cool upgrades: Seymour Duncan BassLines SJB-3 Quarter Pound Jazz Bass pickups set and newer Fender original Hi-Mass bridge. Both are retrofit of the original pickups and bridge, which were upgraded by the previous owner and are better than stock ones.

It has the typical modern "C" neck profile with 1 1/2" nut width and a nice figured maple and maple fretboard. The neck is perfectly straight (truss rod works great and has plenty of room for adjustment) and without any fret issues at all. It's currently set low, very comfy, it really plays like a dream.

These American Standards were for decades the "American Professionals" from nowadays, well known fro being a super solid and reliable workhorse for pros, getting the traditional Jazz Bass tone at a reasonable price point.

No details at all, only some very minimal small and barely noticeable scratches over the body although really well taken care of. It comes with its original molded shaped case and its original case candy (Allen wrench, tags, Catalogs and sticker).

It will be professionally packed and insured to continental US only. Local pickup in LA is also available at no cost.

A case queen! Beautiful, and sounds amazing!

Really curious about the nut width - 1 5/8ths is a modern P bass "B" width neck. It does kinda look like it, but it would be really unusual on a Jazz.

Hay that neck may be quarter sawed also. Nice I wish I needed another jazz I would scoop this one up.
