The Kingston AG features a carved alder body, with a stunning burl maple top. Alder makes a very warm, big sounding, slightly compressed, punchy bass. The burl maple top helps to focus the low end, while the purpleheart fingerboard complements the custom smoky purple satin finish, tying everything together for Andrew’s favorite tone and feel. The AG also features proprietary MTD Bartolini soapbar pickups, adding to it’s incredible tone. Aside from this it weighs in at 8.75 lbs, had custom work done to the control cavity for more quick access to the batteries or preamp which I think is a plus!!! Had a custom made by hand finger ramp and truss rod cover again for quick access to the truss rod!!! Also replaced the original pickups with the P25CBC pickups, but will include the originals. Knobs and bridge ordered straight from Michael Tobias himself very cool guy. This bass is very clean, very minty condition, like new. Buyer pays for shipping, cashapp, paypal acceptable.
