For sale: full set of Sonores Wraps 2021 by Gerold Genssler. Original owner claimed 1 week of use and 1 week of use for me as well. AWESOME jazz strings but they are pretty terrible with the bow (which gerold himself claims). However simple slow scale arco practice is fine.
But my current needs requires a pretty arco heavy string and these babies are just too sweet to keep in my string box.
The E and G were a little too short when strung through the eyelets (the silk covered portion sat in the nut slots) but on Gerold's recommendation I strung the strings in the traditional way using the eyelets as the "ball ends" and it worked swimmingly! I put on some felt washers from an unused set of strings just to be safe. I will leave those on so you have the two choices of how to string them.
