This bass is supposedly from a 2018 custom run for sweetwater, and maybe a few other dealers.
The body is a light and resonant swamp ash, with a redwood top. The neck is quartersawn maple, with a great slab of undotted ebony board. It weighs about 8.2 pounds, and is a superb marriage of fine woods. Smooth satin neck and the headstock is painted black, which looks great with the ebony board. Hanson LH-3 electronics.
I just bought a custom shop precision bass so I can't keep this one. I am keeping the precision even though the neck on this bass is definitely better. This bass is so easy to play and has a great sound that sits in a mix with definition.
Includes a black Lakland hardshell case, and the original allen wrenches and key. Has a couple of very minor scratches and a ding on the headstock, shown in picture and some gold coming off of a couple of tuning pegs. The E string tuner does not turn as smoothly as others, but is not noticeable with tuning adjustments at pitch and does not affect tuning ability or stability. Still has plastic on the control cavity.
