Up for sale is my beautiful Spector Rebop 5 Dlx 5 string. 35” three-piece maple bolt-on neck and alder body (it was refinished to a beautiful blue burst and tung oil finish). This combination looks incredible with the gold-plated hardware.
This is an early 2000’s bass with the traditional NS body shape, made in the Czech Republic. It comes equipped with two EMG HZ humbucking pick ups, along with a Spector tone pump preamp. This one wired as follows: 9v, 2 band EQ (bass and treble), master volume and pick up blend. The pickups have four wires, which means the circuit can be rewired for the coils to be tapped. With minimum soldering knowledge you can reconfigure it in anyway it suits you, following EMG wiring diagrams.
This is an incredibly sounding instrument and it’s going to be sad for me to see her go. It doesn’t get played enough, to justify having her around. It’s in excellent cosmetic condition except for some scratches at the bridge. A Warwick gig bag is included.
