Details

Thomastik Infeld (TI) Long Scale Jazz Flatwounds bass strings for 5-string bass.

This is a brand new set of strings that I tried on a 35” scale 4-string. I didn’t care for it, so I pulled them off the next day and put my round wounds back on.

So on this set, the B is unopened. The E, A & D strings were trimmed and installed on my bass for less than 24-hours. The G was not trimmed or cut, but it was installed on the same bass.

String lengths:
B: 48” uncut/unused
E: 44”
A: 46”
D: 47”
G: 48” uncut

They’re in brand new condition and reduced, since they’ve been opened and a couple of the strings were trimmed.

Price includes shipping.
Continental US only

This is so tempting. I’ve been looking to pick up a set of these for a 35” fretless I have for a while. Do you know what the difference is between these and the super long set are? I guess I’m just concerned that I’d be putting these on a 35” and the core is intended for 34” or something. The lengths look like there’ll be no issue.

It takes a good couple of months for these to break in to that glorious midrange complexity that they are famous for.

Yeah, they’re amazing strings. I’ve used them before. This was more of a rounds vs flats thing on my Fano with Lollar Tbird pickups. The rounds won this time. :)
