For sale Tony Franklin Precision

***I sold the Tony Franklin body, but I still have the Lowe Medium Scale Conversion Neck and may be listing it for sale on it’s own sometime soon.***

This is a great medium scale Precision build that looks, feels, plays and sounds fantastic! I don’t know exactly what it is that Fender customized about the pickups for the Tony Franklin model, but they are definitely the best sounding Fender PJ pickup sets that I have played.

I would really like to keep this one, but I have taxes to pay and need to sell almost all of my basses. My two remaining Muckelroys are the only basses I’m not putting up for sale right now, and I may ultimately wind up having to let one of those go.

Brad Lowe Medium Scale Conversion Neck

• Scale: 32” scale neck specifically designed to fit the standard Fender neck pocket and convert a 34” scale bass to medium scale without any other modifications required
• Headstock: This is one of the original version conversion necks with the Fender headstock shape (made before cease and desist letters from Fender’s attorneys forced Lowe to modify the shape of their headstocks shape)
• Fretboard: Beautiful piece of Rosewood with incredibly comfortable hand-rolled edges and nicely rounded/polished fret ends

*The neck was previously used for a 5-string conversion, so the headstock was routed for a fifth tuner, but I cut a nice piece of rosewood to fit in the fifth tuner hole when the neck is set up for 4-string use (as seen in the pics). In case someone ever wants to use the neck for a 5-string conversion, I will include the additional tuner I used, a three-string hipshot string tree and the 5-string nut that I cut for the neck from a piece of 100+ year-old tusk (pics included in Post #2, below).
