1993 Fireglo Rickenbacker 4003S, with original vintage style case.
Mods include:
- 7.4K Toaster mounter in 1/2” position.
- Re-Issue Horseshoe Pickup.
- Vintage style pickguard, clear plexi back-painted white.
- Vintage style TRC, clear plexi back-painted white.
- Felt grommets on strap-lock pins.
Bass is in great condition, Fireglo finish is the deep red tone with shaded gradients on edges. No finish lifting on tailpiece. This bass was finished with the better polyurethane CV finish, not the present polyester finish which is prone to peeling. Bridge has had the epoxy bedding mod. Completely reversible if desired. If you look closely, you may see some minor nicks, but overall, it’s pretty sweet. Well cared for, no smoke odor. Presently strung with RotoSound TruBass 77 flats. I will include some EB Cobalt Flats.
