Up for sale is my spare Rob Allen Case which I believe is for an MB2 4 string.

It appears to me that this case is made for a 4 string, 34" scale MB2 and won't fit a 35" scale 5 string. The case ships with keys too!
Price is $100USD plus shipping within Canada or to the Lower 48 United States. Shipping is not cheap from Canada but I have some ideas, see my comments below. I will gladly accept a pre-paid or on account shipping label from FedEx with a commercial invoice.
International shipping likely not be worth it or too expensive, but if you really wanted it, contact me. Shipping generally costs me $530CAD for overseas.

As many of you know, I ship basses all the time to the U.S.A. and across Canada. I just shipped a couple of basses out to South Texas in late April that cost me $185CAD each which is approximately $144USD. This was using my bass shipping box which measures 52" x 18" x 8". I also had a bass go out to New Jersey recently, and although there is some savings, it's not huge (maybe $20USD?). Shipping to Quebec is approximately $75CAD via Canada Post lately or $90 via FedEx Ground. Shipping out to Vancouver is pretty much the same price as Texas if you can believe it. That's Canadian shipping for you! We just don't have the volume! If we scrap the bass box, we can save on dimensional weight. The Rob Allen Case itself weighs 16.4lbs on it's own! Obviously with the box, there would be packing material as the box is bigger than the case and the box itself. Easily could be 24lbs+ total which is very similar to shipping a bass in a gig bag.
My suggestion, I use bubble wrap or Glad Cling Wrap and packing tape to cover the case and get the dimensions down. I can expose the handle so the shipping guys will have something to carry. I once bought a Fodera from a guy from Ireland and his packing method exposed the handle of the case and it arrived completely unscathed! I can just as easily cover the handle if there is any anxiety.
The other creative thing we can do here is if I have a bass for sale with a gig bag, your bass happened to fit this case or you could use this for one of your Rob Allen, and I've of course could fit this bass plus the gig bag in one box...well...get in touch!
