here's something I thought I'd never part with, but I'm weird about color, and lake placid blue or whatever this i just never did it for me. I know, i know.

anyway, here's a peavey Cyberbass MIDI bass. fully functional, and professionally calibrated. This bass I believe uses the same technology as the Industrial Radio midi bass. basically, there's sensors in each fret, giving you full polyphonic midi control of anything that accepts midi. its super responsive with next to no latency when compared to midi pickups. also includes the rackmount translator unit, power supply, and 8-pin cable. also works as a normal bass with 1/4" out on both the bass and the rack unit.

theres on small ding as shown in the pics. it also has a truss rod cover but i keep it off because it's annoying.

no trades at this time, thanks!

weight is 8lb 11oz. one of my lightest basses. 34" scale. neck is super thin front to back, like all peaveys ive ever played of this era. nut is midway between a p and a j.

Full disclosure - this unit was recently repaired, due to a loose or dirty header connecting the neck sensor inside. It was cleaned and looked over by an engineer and is now back to tip top shape.

price drop! if you're local to N.E. and can meet up, I'll knock some additional off the price.

Whoa ! Never seen one, or at least I forgot they exist. Now I need to Youtube it...
I know what you mean about the color, though. If I bought it, the pickguard has to be repainted.

I’m very keen on this. I have a GT Guitar Technology)? that is ok for getting song ideas down but no good for serious recording. I’ve tried using a Sonuus G2M but it’s way too hit and miss (mostly miss). Best result so far has been using a midi keyboard to trigger Modo Bass/Synths but ultimately I just want a midi bass that works. I don’t suppose you would ship to Australia?

Ill ship to Australia, sure, but I can only imaghine how expensive it will be. I had a bass shipped from there recently and it was around $300

True, true…

i actually found a problem with mine. One of the strings was only playing one note, so its in the shop getting fixed and getting a once over. Its probably gonna be there a couple weeks. When its back, i could negotiate on the price a bit, maybe?

Turns out the issue was a dirty header that wasnt plugged in right after it was serviced, so its back to 100%. Cleaned the header with deoxit and reseated it. So back on the market!

Sorry crazy week... I’ve been messing around with the Melodyne demo when I’ve had a spare minute or two and so far I’m really happy with the results. There might be some life left in the GT yet :bassist:
