I bought this pedal quite a while ago. It went on my main gigging pedalboard almost immediately and stayed there until I disassembled the board when I retired from gigging.
I’ve been through a lot of compressors, but this one was my favorite to gig with and nothing else could ever displace it. I would say this comp falls into the category of those that slightly enhance the tone. You really can just leave it on all of the time. I also appreciate that it has an LED that lights when the signal is being compressed. Not sure where these are being built these days, but this one was made in Japan.
